Detailed lists of representative clients and representative engagements can be found in the “Creditors’ Rights” and “Business Bankruptcy” sections of this website.  Among those engagements not listed in those sections are Neal’s more recent representation of a privately held, Texas-based petroleum drilling company in its debt restructuring negotiations with its banks, representation of a large suburban Chicago based commercial real estate developer in a chapter 11 case that ultimately led to a consensual debt restructuring with its three lenders, representation of aggrieved shareholders in a successful trial of a securities litigation to a Cook County jury, and representation of the owner of a chain of franchised restaurants in successful litigation in the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.  The latter victory in the United States Court of Appeals was one of two victorious appeals briefed and argued by Neal in that Court within the past twenty-four months.
